The Coach

Ross Gehlhausen is a highly experienced tennis coach with a successful track record in both collegiate and high school tennis. He is currently an assistant coach for the men's tennis team at IUPUI and has an extensive background as both a player and coach.

Current Position: Assistant coach for the IUPUI men's tennis team since 2023.
Collegiate Playing Career:
- Played for IUPUI and set school records for singles (117 matches) and doubles (102 matches).
- Led IUPUI back to the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament after a two-year absence.
- Recorded 10 singles wins in his senior season, making him the second-winningest singles player in IUPUI history.
Academic Achievements:
- Named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List in six of eight semesters.
- Selected for the Mid-Continent Conference Academic All-Conference team three times.
High School Coaching:
- Served as the head coach for the Cy Fair High School tennis program in Texas for seven years.
- Achieved notable success, including strong performances at the state tournament.
