The Coach

Bryce Deadmon is an elite American sprinter specializing in the 400 meters. He has won the 2023 USA national title in the 400 meters USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, clocking a personal best of 44.22 seconds. This secured his spot at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. The following year, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, he helped Team USA bring home gold in the men’s 4x400m relay and took silver in the mixed 4x400m relay, where the team set a world record of 3:07.41 during the heats. Over the years, he has brought two Olympic golds, a silver, and a bronze, along with a World Championship title in the 4x400m relay.

Bryce Deadmon’s 400-meter training has evolved through different coaching styles, from tempo-based workouts at Texas A&M under Pat Henry to high-volume endurance training with Boogie Johnson. Now, with Vince Anderson, his focus is all about sprinting—keeping distances short and intensity high.
