Leo Manzano is a standout middle-distance runner, famous for his powerful finishing kick and determination. He won a silver medal in the 1,500 meters at the 2012 Olympics, becoming the first American to medal in the event since 1968. Born in Mexico and raised in Texas, Manzano went from a high school star to an NCAA champion and U.S. Olympian through hard work and perseverance. At the University of Texas, he set records and won multiple NCAA titles, making him one of the school's most decorated athletes.
