    Step Over with a Squat

     view description
    • Step Over with a Squat

      1. Step over with each foot and bend into a squat.

      2. Players should keep the weight into their heels as they bend into the squat.

      3. Young players may be a bit wobbly initially, but their hip flexibility will improve with practice.

      Coaching Tip

Hips need to remain flexible and strong to relieve the hip tension that builds from taking hundreds of swings.
