Take each school you are considering and ask the following 10 questions to help narrow down your decision.
1. What is the quality of the academic program. Will I enjoy the program/school if I would (or could) not play?
2. Does this program/school set me up for further pathways? Grad school? Job Placements?
3. Are there tutoring/academic services available if I need them?
4. Is the size of the school what I am comfortable with? Is it a good learning environment that I can succeed in.
5. Class size? would a smaller class with direct access to an instructor be more beneficial to my learning style?
6. Is the school located in an area I like? Urban vs Rural. What is there to do in my free time? What access is available?
7. Living away / at home? what's the distance to/from. Will I get home as much as a want? extra costs of travel.
8. What is the current situation of the roster and where do I potential fit? Do I like the team/coach?
9. Could I see myself playing there?
10. Do I love the school?
