  In this 12-part video series, you are going to learn everything you need to know about sliding including the drills and tips that you need to help your players improve their sliding skills.
  
  At the youth level, we want players to understand the different types of slides that they can use on the base paths and to feel confident applying correct sliding technique in game situations. Above all, we want to ensure that kids practice and use slides in a way that's safe and in accordance with league rules.
  
  Before getting started, we recommend that you research your league's policy on baserunning, lead-offs, and sliding to best understand which skills in this lesson are immediately applicable. This will help you to maximize your practice time and to avoid overloading your players with unnecessary information.
