    Sliding Back on Pick-Offs

     view description
    • Sliding Back on Pick-Offs
      • When diving back to first base, a baserunner should throw his right hand toward the back of the base to make the first baseman reach as far as possible to apply the tag.
      • Skim your hand close to the ground to make your body low and flat for a tougher tag.
      • Baserunners should tuck their chins and look to the left to avoid getting hit in the face and to look for opportunities to advance on overthrows.
