      Fabian Baez

No One Cares How Much You Know Until They Know How Much You Care

      About

Fabian Baez's football experience spans across four decades of successful coaching at the high school, junior college, semi-pro and women's pro levels.

From 2015-present, he coached QBs, WRs and served as co-offensive coordinator within an explosive Air Raid system. Their efforts resulted in two separate organizations winning division championships in 2023 (New York Wolves) and 2018 (New York Sharks), respectively. The 2023 and 2022 Wolves finished with perfect records. His first experience in women's football was coaching DBs for the trailblazing NY Sharks in 2012.

In 2013, Baez was hired as the head coach for the Jersey Coast Academy; a new post-graduate football program based in Toms River, NJ. Among many tasks, he assisted their student-athletes in transitioning into D2 and D3 institutions. Several of their players earned 2013 All-Seaboard Conference honors that season. The year prior in 2012, Baez coached WRs at Globe Tech Community College (New York, NY) for a high-powered spread offense which helped several receivers secure four-year college scholarships.

Baez is forever grateful for his coaching start in 1999 as a volunteer assistant at George Washington HS (New York, NY). He instructed and coordinated the special teams units in 1999-2000. Then led the junior varsity squad in 2001 and 2002 as the head coach while raising money and awareness about the growing program. He coached the varsity offensive line 2003-2005. Baez contributed to building a program on the verge of being shut down due to a stretch of poor performance and a lack of support. During the 2000s, GW earned PSAL playoff appearances and graduated all their student-athletes. All done in a school predominantly known for its nationally-recognized baseball program and no recent football history.

In 2006, Baez was an offensive assistant for a prominent, playoff-contending semi-pro football organization, the New York Bandits. That same year, he completed the Football GM & Scouting Course offered online through Sports Management Worldwide.
