Anthony Latina

Head Coach for Sacred Heart University Basketball

About

Coach Latina is currently in his ninth season at the helm of Sacred Heart University Basketball. In the last three years, the Pioneers under Latina have finished top three in the Northeast Conference and won more games during that span than any other team in the conference. Before arriving at Sacred Heart, Latina spent eight seasons as an assistant at Central Connecticut State, where he appeared in two NCAA Tournaments and three NEC Championship appearances.

As a player, Latina played point guard for Brandeis University where he was a four-year starter, two-year captain, ECAC Champion, recipient of the Athletic Director’s Award and Stein Attitude and Dedication to Basketball Award. Coach graduated with his degree in history and American studies from Brandeis University.
