      Drew Piscopo

Air Raid OC and QB Coach

      About

Drew Piscopo has spent more than a decade developing and running Air Raid concepts as the Offensive Coordinator at Ashe County Huskies. Over the past 10+ seasons, his offenses have consistently been among the most productive passing attacks in the state.

During his time at Ashe County, Drew has coached six consecutive 3,000-yard passing seasons and developed five different quarterbacks who reached the 3,000-yard milestone. His offenses have finished in the top three in the state in passing multiple times, while four of his players have been named Conference Player of the Year.

Beyond the field on Friday nights, Drew has dedicated years to studying and mastering the Air Raid system. He has made multiple trips to both Washington State Cougars football and Mississippi State Bulldogs football to study the offense directly from the late Mike Leach himself.

Drew has also conducted an extensive independent study of Leach’s offense, breaking down every game Leach called from 2012 through his final game, creating a deep archive of film study, notes, and teaching materials on the Air Raid system.

With years of hands-on play calling, quarterback development, and direct exposure to the Air Raid’s creator, Drew brings a practical, coach-tested perspective on how this offense actually works—and how to successfully implement it at the high school level.
