Ole Miss has one of the best offenses in all of college football both statistically and in aspects of studying and learning schemes that you can run at all levels of football. One of those schemes that Ole Miss was particularly effective in running was their Power Read Scheme. This is a great scheme that is able to cancel out a defender (as a read key) while allowing your offense to attack the perimeter instantly while also having an inside run threat with the Q Keep. This attacks the defense on multiple levels and puts them all in constant conflict. It also is a play that allows your Offensive Line to Tee off on down defenders with some physicality as there is little on their plates in terms of responsibilities. This is one of the ultimate plays in football and when ran correctly is an absolute game changer.
This course is designed to TEACH you every aspect of how Ole Miss runs this concept including:
-Film Breakdown of the Concept in live game reps
-Walk thru of each element including each blocking technique that is used
-Walk thru of QB Footwork and reads
-How the QB Footwork changes based on the variation (Toss, Jet, etc.)
-The Different Issues that can come up and how to troubleshoot them
-All variations that Ole Miss used including Toss, Jet, Lead, Empty, etc.
-How to block each front with playbook sheets and breakdowns
Lane Kiffin has long been known for his ability to create a dynamic and explosive offense and that didn't change in his first season as the Head Coach at Ole Miss. Kiffin had the Rebels Offense averaging 39 Points Per Game while playing a tough SEC Schedule. Along with the points the Rebels were able to move the ball averaging 555.5 Yards Per Game. Coming up big in the biggest of moments with a 647 yards & 48 points performance against the National Champion Alabama Defense. Inside this breakdown you will see how Kiffin blended his spread offense with tempo, finding various ways to attack specific looks! This was only his first season at the helm of the Rebels Offense but we cannot wait to see what he is able to build in Oxford!
This course is designed with a full purpose of teaching you the complete concept with the use of:
Rhett Lashlee - Creating Explosive with Tempo Offense
Explosive! Dynamic! Calculated! Those are just some of the words that come to mind when I think of the Ole Miss Offense. Lane Kiffin has been one of the most fun Offensive Minds to watch over the years and he really amplified that in Oxford. Inside this Mini Study we take a ton of time to examine the Ole Miss Redzone Package. Ole Miss utilizes space extremely well and once that space gets smaller as they get closer to the endzone they begin to manipulate the defense with condensed packages. We discuss this in great detail inside this mini-study and provide several examples of Ole Miss Doing so.
