In this course, Coach Fernandez takes you through some of his favorite small-sided games (SSGs) that he has learned along the way. He discusses how he has implemented them into his practices or skill development sessions and has a Q&A session regarding the rules and modifications. He also briefly introduces the idea of "Implicit Leadership Theory", which can help coaches at any level avoid a lot of headaches. Whether you're new to the idea of SSGs, a young coach, or a veteran coach, there's something here for you to walk away with that can help add some fun, excitement, and competitiveness to your team or program while also improving skills in a scientifically-proven way.
In this clinic, Coach Mike De Kraker, will dive into training youth players with the help of some creative Small Sided Games (SSG), which helps stimulate creativeness from one's players and coaching staff.

In this lesson Coach Schepp talks about how to coach teams like 3 v. 3 and 4 v. 4 because the strategy can differ dramatically from the regular 5 v. 5 basketball games. He talks about how to approach these games and what are the most important concepts to remember when coaching small-sided games (SSG's)
In this video, I go through my method of teaching individual offence within a team dynamic - called 'advantage based offence'. I show how individual offensive skills can be taught, developed and applied much more effectively in a team environment than through individual practice.
The video includes important offensive concepts like - What is an advantage? How do we create advantages? Once we create an advantage, how do we attack the best advantage?
The 'advantaged based offence' is taught through 'small sided games' which are fun, dynamic and engaging scenarios for athletes to play in to learn the concepts. These games work on a variety of key offensive ideas such as spacing, ball movement, individual offence, decision making and shot selection.
Additionally, the video also includes MORE 'Position Pressure' individual defensive drills. These build on my first individual defence video (`Position Pressure` - teaching aggressive individual defence) which can be purchased at:
