The Coach
I have coached track and field for 25 years. This was my 19th year coaching at DeSoto High School with 14 years as head coach. I also serve as the Assistant Athletic Director for DeSoto ISD and am a proud graduate of DeSoto. The DeSoto girls are 5peat State Champions this year with a total of 9 wins since 2007. DeSoto girls have been district champions since 2004 and won 13 of the last 14 Regional Championships. DeSoto girls broke the 4x100m relay National record in 2019 with a time of 44.24. DeSoto girls also hold the state records for 100m hurdIes and 4x400m Relays. I am married with 3 sons, Ethan, Cole, and Luke.
