Kendall Griffin Filip is a highly accomplished and respected figure in the world of track and field coaching, currently serving as the Associate Head Coach and Jumps/Multi-Events Coach at Texas State University. With a career rooted in elite athletic performance and refined through years of dedicated coaching, Kendall brings a unique blend of practical experience and strategic insight to athlete development.
 
Before transitioning to coaching, she was an All-American heptathlete at UCLA, competing at the highest collegiate levels and earning a spot on US national teams in heptathlon. A testament to resilience, her competitive career, though cut short by injury, laid the foundation for a profound understanding of athletic mechanics and mental fortitude.
 
At Texas State, she has been instrumental in cultivating a culture of excellence. Under their guidance, the track and field program has secured four Sunbelt team championships, produced 12 individual Sunbelt champions, set two school records and four conference records, and mentored six All-Americans. Most notably, she coached two national runner-ups in the men's high jump at the NCAA championships, showcasing an unparalleled ability to elevate athletes to elite status.
 
Specializing in high jump, long jump, triple jump, heptathlon, and decathlon, she is renowned for a coaching philosophy that prioritizes individual athlete development.
