Does the school you are considering have an academic support system?
Each school can be different in this area. Be sure to ask what this looks like for each school should you feel you might need some support in this area.
Some schools also have a hired designated person in their department to look after the athletes with regular check-ins and assistance with class registrations.
Often a 4-year University degree will consist of general classes in years 1 and 2; specializing in years 3 and 4.
If you are uncertain what you would like to study in University - this is quite normal. Consider making an appointment with the school academic advisor and discussing some options around your subject interests and where this may lead you. Be sure to mention that you will be looking to play Varsity sport as some degree programs don't always align best to being a student-athlete.
