Dan Lundy

About

Dan Lundy is a University of Miami alum, where he was a FG/KO specialist and member of the 2001 National Championship Rose Bowl team. Since, Lundy founded 4th Down University, LLC (4thDownU.com), a special teams training and consultation group that has produced dozens of Division 1 kickers, punters, and long snappers.

In 19 years coaching, Lundy has coached 84 All-Americans (55 NCAA/29 High School), 3 Lou Groza Award winners, and 4 Ray Guy Award winners (given to the nation’s best collegiate kicker and punter respectively). Some of Lundy’s specialists who have made it to the NFL are:

In 2016, Lundy founded the Kick It Forward Foundation 501(c)3 to offer free experiences for youth football players. As a result, Lundy partnered with 7 year NFL veteran and current Cincinnati Bengals DB, Ricardo Allen, to establish the Ricardo Allen Football Camp (RA37Camp). The RA37Camp has grown in to one of the largest free annual football camps in the nation; it is hosted in Daytona Beach, FL each March.

Currently, Lundy is a regular speaker for the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Nike Coach Of The Year Clinics, Glazier Clinics, X&O Football Clinics, Teams Talk, Our Coaching Network, TXHSFBChat, and the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA). Headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, Coach Lundy is married to the former Aryana Downs. The couple have two daughters, Blake and Leighton.
