    • Arms & Wrists
      • Many cheer moves require wrists and arms to be stretched, including backhand springs, cartwheels and stunting. Use these stretches to loosen those areas:
      • Arm Stretch 1- Place one arm across the body. Hug it toward the body to create a stretch. Repeat the same stretch with the opposite arm.
      • Arm Stretch 2- Raise an arm straight above the head and bend it toward the back. Grab the elbow and gently pull back Repeat the same stretch with the opposite arm
      • Wrist Stretch- Get down on both knees, put both hands on the floor and lock the arms with fingers pointing out. Gently rock back and forth. Repeat this stretch with fingers pointing in toward the body.
      • Hold each stretch for a minimum of 10 seconds.
