It is time to prepare for your first practice and get your athletes ready to learn and have fun at the same time. One of your biggest responsibilities is to make sure your athletes are properly stretched and warmed up before you start any cheer activities. Cheerleading is often physically challenging, so it is important to take every precaution in avoiding injuries and to teach your cheerleaders the importance of a warm-up routine.
