    • Objective

      To use the correct technique to keep the ball low and into the corners of the goal.

      Coaching Points

      On your toes ready to step to the ball. Keep your eye on the ball and toes pointed down. Leaning forward, strike with the laces or the inside of the foot, and follow through for power and accuracy.

      Problems to Watch Out For

      Players will have their bodies out of position when striking the ball, forcing the shot off-target.

      Why This Works

      With no goalkeeper pressure, players have a big target to aim for, and players receive practice from both sides of the goal.
