Lesson 1:
Ch 1 Change your mindset to think positive
If you focus on the negative "I can't swim" you may never learn to train your brain to accept that you can swim until you change your mindset to believing you can teach yourself to swim.
A hot dog floats and it doesn't have lungs. Try sinking a beach ball or air mattress. If you start learning all the basic skills at home without a pool first, you'll be able to confidently transfer those same skills to the shallow end of a pool or lake where you can stand up!
You taught yourself backyard sports skills you then transferred to the playing field or court so why not do the same in swimming with me being your pro instructor to teach you how to teach yourself?
When you remove fear at home your brain is able to focus on the positive easy-to-master one-minute skills in my system to get faster results. That small success in small steps is what overcomes your fears and builds your confidence. I teach you how to teach yourself and your kids to swim.

Most people think of only one kind of floating in the face down position. Actually there are seven kinds of floating positions and another five kinds of skills to improve your floating ability. What may not seem obvious to you but you should learn to improve your overall swimming skills are: Face float, Turtle float, Survival float, Sea otter float, Salt Lake float, Back float, and Pencil float...
