Week Three: Advanced Dribbling Skills

In this week's lesson, players will practice dribbling with close control, dribbling with the outside and the inside of their feet, and accelerating and decelerating with the ball. We've also included several drills that put players into 1 v. 1 situations to get them comfortable maintaining possession under defensive pressure. These concepts are crucial for players to begin learning in preparation for live game when they'll be dribbling in the midst of multiple defenders. Remember to focus on the progress of the individual players and make sure they are having fun. This should always be the coach's top priority.
