Running power will definitely put your offense to the top. Learn the useful angles, footwork, and read techniques for your linemen. Watch games films that will surely add to your coaching pointers; only in this course by Head Coach Tommy Gilleran.
Everyone thinks all you have to do is read Guards to stop the Wing-T.
Well, here is a little secret. Wing-T coaches LOVE it when you read our Guards....and this course shows you why.
Use 2 TE and Shifts to Stress the Defense:
Shake the defense with this two-tight-end system. With extra and bigger blockers, put flexibility in your offensive tactic with shifts and two tight ends in play.
Get this course from Head Coach Tommy Gilleran and boost your offense with this technique that allows for traditional Wing-T plays.
Using Jet Motion, Stewart reads unblocked defenders for his RRO (Run Run Options) from the Pistol Formation
ONE Blocking assignment foir 3 plays
Being in the Pistol allows your QB to read unblocked defenders.
Now you don't have to call a play, see how the defense reacts, then come back to the answer a few plays later.
The QB makes the defense PAY for wrong decision on that very play
Never coaching a scholarship players and ALWAYS having players learning both sides of the ball, Stewart is a master at getting maximum reps during a 2-hour practice.
This is NOT a Wing-T video. This will help ANY program be more efficient at practice.
Stewart has coached in a program that had 220 players, a program with 120 players, and two programs with only 50 players.
Guard Trap from Pistol Wing-T:
Being part of a bigger system, running guard trap can be a key play for a homerun. In this lecture series, Head Coach Marce Porcello will show us the advantages of guard traps. Learn how to block linebackers quickly, enforce deception, and do 4-man and 5-man fronts trap. Moreso, you can watch their footwork for the different personnel in the field to nail the guard trap.
Pull the Center & Tackle instead of the Guards.
Shift Your Tackle over so you have both big boys on the same side.
Run the Wing on Rocket Motion to the right, then run Buck to the Left...but pull the Tackle & Center!!!

Jet Sweep by the coach who put Shotgun Wing T on the map in the '90s
Six State championship game appearances.
Four state championships
The Jet (or Fly) Sweep has made its way into EVERY offensive attack. WHY?
The 4-time state champion takes you thru the Jet Sweep from both under center and the Gun...with a game film of both to show you advantages and disadvantages.
Running it from the Gun is slower and harder to time up to get the ball into the play side A gap
SO WHY RUN IT FROM THE GUN???

Known around the country for his efficient practices, this video focuses solely on the Offensive Line.
Using the Homer's Dairy, every lineman in Stewart's practices will get 3-4 reps per minute.
Bags to Shields to 5-man sled, stewart takes you thru footwork & hand placement.
But the KEY is not the technique....it is the EFFICIENCY and how many reps can you get in 10 minutes.
Also, maximizing teaching time during summer with "mini-clinics"
Use of Half Lines, Guard Trap Pods, Perimeter Run Drill gets both sides of the line maximum reps.
And Stewart shows you how he squeezes in 10 minutes a day of Live Pass Pro
Pat Murphy is one of the originators of the Shotgun Wing T...
running it in the '90s and winning 4 out of 5 state titles.
Using comparisons, Murphy shows you traditional Under Center formations and how they correspond to the Shotgun.
Murphy has been a Wing-T guy all his life and was very successful Under Center coach before transitioning to Shotgun....which led to the 4 state titles.
BONUS ALERT: He also shows you why a WING-T state champion believes Inside Zone is a great play and why he runs it.
But he hasn't lost his decoder ring because...

Are you letting your QB read unblocked defenders? (btw...this totally fits the Wing T "put defenders in conflict" commandment)
Let this STATE CHAMPION prove to you that a smaller Wing can block an End that outweighs him.
All supported with GAME FILM
How about the Tight End?
Murphy then moves onto the pulling Guards. Draws it up, shows practice video of footwork, & then backs it up with game film

Using the Empty Formations to run The Triple Gun Offense added to the explosiveness of this offense because it spreads a defense out creating huge running lanes for the ball carriers. This adds to our philosophy of “ Speed in Space & let the big guys chase” Having a complete attack in Empty sets creates lots of additional preparation for your opponents.
The Triple Gun Quick is a pass concept that can be a great addition to any offense. What makes it so unique is it has a built-in boot off the initial pass. Texas Slot T teams have won Texas state titles in 2006 (3A), 2007 (3A), 2021 (3A), and 2022 (3A). State runner-ups in 2005 (2A), 2015 (3A), 2018 (4A), 2019 (3A), 2020 (3A), 2021 (5A), and 2023 (4A). semifinalists in 2010 (3Aa), 2022 (5A)
Why the Slot-T?
Now that the spread offense has taken hold as the offense of choice for most programs today, the Slot-T has become a unique offense that is difficult to counter this trend as defenses are designed to combat wide formations and passing sets and not a downhill run attack! Alan Haire's Slot-T offense is the perfect answer for coaches who lack the personnel needed to run the up-tempo spread offense, and will present numerous challenges to more modern defenses. This approach will allow you the unique ability to have your opponent scrambling to prepare every week!
Learn how to run the football versus any defense despite potential differences in talent. See how players line up in four-point stances and use angle blocking to maximize "get off" on the snap to defeat larger, more talented teams. The team-oriented schematic structure emphasizes team football as opposed to one or two players being asked to make all of the plays.
Formations and Terminology
The video are the basic formation, line splits, and attributes Coach Haire would like to see in each position on offense. The offense uses a strong side and a quick side. The offensive line utilizes the rare tactic of flipping the offensive line, which allows for simplicity in blocking rules as one scheme can be used for two plays. Simple formations and motions add flexibility to the offense.

Play Action & Homerun Balls
Winning football games comes down to scoring. When using a ball-controlled approach offensive coaches MUST take advantages of defenses looking to pack the box and cheat their alignments to stop your ground game.
Coach Herron explains how he uses this Delaware based Wing-T approach to do just that in this video
Coach Herron discusses his concepts for why running effective Play Action football is vital to his success in high school footbal:
Takes Advantage of Duel Responsible Players
Takes Advantage of Undisciplined Players

It’s a simple concept - you need to get the ball to your best players!
No matter what level of football you are playing the worse thing an Offensive coach can do is, take the ball out of the hands of their best players.
Coach Kevin Creasy explains how they move their players around to get their players to different positions to make sure you get the players the touches they need but also account for situations like injuries.
In this video Coach Creasy explains how he has used 3 different offensive Ideologies to achieve this goal:
Combining the Wing-T, the Spread, and Multiple I
Keeping with the idea-a formation is not an offense-but a method in helping move the football Coach Creasy has achieved these results over the past 4 seasons:
Averaged 45 ppg
Averaged 5,500 yards of total offense
RBs average 7 ypc
WRs average nearly 19 ypc
QBs TD to Interception ratio has been 23 to 3
If you are looking to take your offense to the next level and find more production with less plays, this is the course for you!
