Chair Load Drill: Strength & Speed in Takeoff
This two-phase drill develops takeoff leg stability and explosive knee drive. Early in the season, athletes use a lower chair to reinforce strength and control at a 90-degree flexion. As the season progresses, a higher chair increases speed and reactivity, training athletes to execute a powerful and efficient takeoff.
