    • Tutorial Showing a Head Outside Double Leg Take Down For Beginners From Neutral Position. The breakdown is in simple steps.

This video is for folkstyle and freestyle wrestling from the neutral or standing position. The double leg takedown is one of the most utilized leg attack in wrestling from neutral or standing position in wrestling. Once you learn how to shoot in wrestling properly, you should then learn the double leg takedown.

It is important to learn how to take an angle to turn the corner, and stay in good position when doing a double leg, especially when you are a youth wrestler or just learning. The finish shown is turning the corner. There are tons of other finishes, but I like this finish for people who are new to wrestling. The idea of taking the angle on your opponent, aka turning the corner, is very important.

This video is good for people who are new to wrestling and looking for instruction, for people just beginning or learning wrestling, or for anyone who wants to improve their wrestling basics or fundamentals.

Recently, I started a wrestling-based charity. It is called "Wrestling Shoes For you" and is aimed at donating wrestling gear (shoes, headgears, kneepads, etc.) to underprivileged youth. If you could stop my Facebook page and give it a like/possibly donate any old gear you have laying around, it will help a great cause.
