    • Tutorial Showing a Firemans Carry For Beginners. This Instructional Goes Over The Keys To The Move And Is A Step By Step Breakdown.

Fireman's carry is a great move from neutral or standing. If you can get a good feel for it, it can be very effective. You must keep the arm tight, pretty much trapped, to finish this takedown.

Key to keeping that arm in tight is using your head as well as your arm to keep it in tight. Look back with your head and keep that arm tight to your body. From there, the dump should come easy.

Where you grip the leg isn't important, you can attack at the calf, the knee, or up the crotch. Whatever works best for you. Avoid taking him too far over your head, you can get extended and out of position. Also make sure not to sit on your own butt, you want to have a good posture. Set up is a simple head snap. Sorry there is a slight lighting issue in this video.

This video is good for people who are new to wrestling and looking for instruction, for people just beginning or learning wrestling, or for anyone who wants to improve their wrestling basics or fundamentals.
