Coastal Carolina continued their triple-option dominance this 2021 season by averaging 40 points per game and gaining an average of 484 yards per game.
Clearly, this dominance is due to having a superior scheme paired with a high level of execution demanded by their experienced coaching staff.
Their offensive system contains a good balance of Triple Option, RPO's, RSO's, Play Action, and Drop Back/Sprint Out passing.
In this first Study of the Coastal Carolina Offense, I dive into the details of their RPO offensive plays showing you why they are effective and examining them in great detail.
This Breakdown includes:
-Detailed Account of the Rules & Responsibilities
-Film Breakdown where we take a look into a real-life situation
-All-22 for you to study on your own
-Playbook Sheets that you can download & print out
-Everything you could possibly need to LEARN these concepts that make Coastal Carolina so effective

The winningest football program in major College Football has had a facelift with a new “Speed In Space” motto!

No doubt, Michigan will forever want to be a power, ground-n-pound blue-blood of college football, but they are evolving and expanding!
In this course, you’ll be able to see the number of advantages they make with unbalanced formations and RPOs disguised as power football with fullbacks and true blocking tight ends.
Michigan is working to improve and is close to becoming elite again!
Coach Hahnstadt has paired up with Spread and Shred to breakdown the 2021 Crimson Tide Offense for you!
What you get:
When it comes to having winning success in football, one of the most important things a team must do is execute a solid run game strategy.
While there are many different styles of play, for this course we will focus on the strategies that the Buffalo Bulls have used in their highly successful zone and counter run game.
How successful have they been?
Check out these statistics pulled straight from the NCAA FBS Team Statistics page:
The Buffalo Bulls offensive line plays a vital role when it comes to their run execution.
To see how they really did it, we collected 20 of their best run plays and analyzed the wide and end zone film.
For the purposes of this course, we will break down and share the best examples of offensive plays the Bulls used last season.
We will also analyze these plays in order to demonstrate how their combination of Inside Zone, Outside Zone and Counter, can be successful and score points when executed properly.
If you want to be a coach who is successful at teaching the IZ/OZ and Counter run game, then take this course to learn from the best team that executed these schemes.
Everybody love the Air Raid for the passing game, but we all know that you have to have a consistent run game to attack the defense and hold them accountable.
You also need run concepts that are simple, work against anything, and work well with wide splits.
What you need is the Dart Package.
Dart is essentially a Line Backer Trap for Shotgun Teams.
It is super simple and can be run with easy rules and gap concepts.
It fit's perfectly with RPO's, Screens and 10 or 20 personnel formations.
And of course Mike Leach has been perfecting it for decades.
So the best source to study it is Coach Leach's teams.
This course will teach you in detail how you can run Dart against any front and with 3x1, 2x2 and 2x1 formations.
Impressed with Ohio State's offense?

If you want to be the authority on the Ohio State Offense in a few hours, without wasting time on YouTube, even if you've never seen an offense like this before, this course will teach you.
Ohio State has one of the most explosive and dynamic offenses in the Big 10 and in this breakdown, you can learn how to take their philosophy and build it into your personal offensive system.
The Buckeye offense isn’t overly complicated as they use very few schemes and concepts to dominate opposing defenses.
Using “window dressing” by formation, motion, or personnel, Ohio State is able to keep the defense on its toes.

Dominate the Low Red Zone by using unique formations to create advantages for your players whether isolating receivers or gaining the needed leverage and get that last few yards need to capitalize on a needed drive

Arkansas, Washington and many other teams are now using variations of 3 Safety High defenses to stop traditional Air Raid teams.
In this course, you will learn how defenses adjust to cover all of the most popular Air Raid plays like Mesh, Shallow, and All Verts while still remaining strong against the run.
Arkansas defense is only getting better. With their win over Texas A&M they are showing they are the real deal this year!
IF you like ball control - but with RPO's, then this is a breakdown for you!
Most teams spread it out and try to score as fast and as many points as they can.
That can work if you are explosive, but not everybody is. And it is high risk.
If you do not have the explosive threats, you need to play with ball control and clock management.
Minnesota's offense under PJ Fleck is the new version of Ball Control.
Coming from a WR background he has taken his knowledge of the passing game and combined it with deadly Inside Zone and DUO run plays.
PJ knows how to get the most out of his team...no one can doubt that.
Dive in and take a deeper look at the offense that he used to shock the BIG10...Without a Blue Chip QB!
You will learn from the art of execution and simplicity. All plays contain incredible detail and ALL-22 video clips, so you can learn the secrets of his system.

They stand out because they have the vision to create new and amazing things from their offenses each year. These are the coaches you can learn from to help you find the winning edge for your team! Introducing Offensive Innovators: Breaking Down the Tom Herman Offense My name is Jason Hahnstadt, I’m the founder of ProStyleSpreadOffense.com Over the past two months I’ve released multiple courses where I’ve broken down today’s top offensive systems and the system we used successfully. In this short time over 300 coaches have booked these courses to learn more about the latest in football strategies. This project draws from the best offensive innovators in the college game today. And I want to share with you every single strategy that I have uncovered from this season’s top coaches. Here's what you get:
- 20 of Tom Herman's top offensive plays each broken down and described in a 2-4 minute video whiteboard lesson. - How to adjust each concept to different defensive looks. Even and Odd front variations covered for run game. Pass game includes 2-high Safety and 1-high Safety adjustments. - Techniques and offensive position skill development recommendations at key positions for each play. - Individual 10-15s clips of each play in HD quality slow motion. - Practice drill suggestions - Breakdown of play installation and rationale for running each play. - Full Playbook for downloading and printing of every single play to share with staff and easy reference. Do the Plays Work for Normal Offenses? My whole purpose for doing this is to show you that many of these play can be executed in normal offenses. When you dig into these offenses you will see that they are not as complex as some might think. Many coaches have a limiting belief but I want to show you that you can be an innovative offensive coach with your team and win more games because of it! Reviews of my other current courses (I cannot access these reviews from my previous CoachTube courses) “I'm a youth coach always wanting to learn a little more. At our level, it's great when you can access videos that break things down for you. I can seek out those plays and concepts I can modify down to our level. Coach Hahnstadt's course on JMU's offense gives me a lot to work with this off-season. Coach has done a great job isolating what makes the plays work. There are definitely several concepts I'll be able to bring to this season with my 11 and 12 year olds. Thanks Coach Hahnstadt!” “Very well done. Breaks down these plays and responsibilities in a way that is very simple to understand. Nice job.” “Very helpful... I'm just moving up from youth to high school...And I'm studying different RPO systems... So this is real good material to use and coach up.” “Great course. Very comprehensive and detailed with varied backgrounds/scenery and explanations. Good for the easily distracted haha. He even discusses how to install it step-by-step with your team. Lots of videos and materials in the course.” Frequently Asked Questions: Will this course continue to be updated? At any point I learn or gain some new information regarding the strategies these teams are using I will update the course - all coaches will receive these updates. Why did you choose Tom Herman's offense and not other FBS, FCS, Div 2,3 and High School's to break down? In the case of this course, I choose Coach Herman's offense since he is one of the most innovative coaches in the game today. In the future, I would love to cover more teams from different levels - one of my previous courses was on JMU who was this season’s National Champion at the FCS level and they did some outstanding things. How are each of these concepts created? Each coach has their own method for creating and calling plays. I can best speculate that it’s a combination of all their previous experience as well as what they have been able to test in practices and develop with their own staff. What terminology should be used for calling these plays? Each play is listed with a sample of a recommended terminology for installing the play. Coaches should be able to adapt to their own systems easily if they wish to. I tend to use a lot of words to help describe the play in the course, but prepping for a game you would probably want to cut down terminology as much as you can. How do I install these plays in practice? Under the practice drill section for each play, I will cover some of the ways to install these plays so that your offense can be executed like the teams you are modeling it after. Will OL blocking schemes be broken down? Yes, within each video breakdown, the offensive line scheme will be covered. For example if it is a zone run, I may discuss uncovered/covered rules or numbering system as to how the team determines who they are supposed to block. How simple is it to install/adapt to my current offensive scheme? As I break down each play I will discuss the concepts of the play and why it works. How each team runs it (formations/personnel) is the icing on the cake, but the concepts can be adapted to any offensive system.
FACT: JMU averaged 48 points and 507 Yards per game this past year.
Check it out here: http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fcs/current/team/21 We wouldn't lie.
That's why we studied their Offense...to breakdown exactly why it was so good.
National Champion good... If your offense isn't producing, it's NOT always your fault.
Not every coach gets to dedicate their lives to football for 10-12 hours daily.
Life happens, right? (kids...school...family...loans) (But don't worry...as you'll soon see, you can learn the plays and strategies and how to execute them properly TODAY without spending years as an assistant under the greats)
So how do you find out how to coach a team to play like JMU?
There is a way. And that's exactly what this course is all about...
RPOs & Spread Offense Concepts from FCS Champs JMU
In just the last few months, we have helped 500+ coaches find new strategies to help them win.
"This course is outstanding. Coach Hahnstadt has done an excellent job of putting this course together so that we can get a good look at what Coach Herman and his staff at Houston did with their RPO stuff.
RPO's are the latest and greatest offensive attack and this fits right into that mold." John Bronkhorst Head Football Coach High Island (TX) ISD
And this is the course that kicked it all off... YOU get the KEYS to the JMU offense. Drive carefully. This is not your father’s Oldsmobile. Here’s a sampling of what’s covered …
- The Gap and Zone Run Plays that JMU builds their base RPO's from.
- Simple RPO's that force defenses to spread the field and defend every player giving you numbers in the box.
- The one play that sets up your best athlete for the quick score.
- The Screen package that forces defenses to react, then counters with a simple play that burns the secondary.
I wouldn't recommend you attempt these plays without detailed analysis and a specific play by play breakdown with the exact step-by-step instructions.
So what I'm saying is... Don't try a single play of this offense until you take the course!
Win the one game you've been trying to win every season to get your team over the hump!
Save time from having to search endlessly for that great "gotcha" play that gets you an easy six and instant momentum!
Avoid potentially-embarrassing “rookie” mistakes when you are refining and developing your offense to run faster and more efficiently.
This course dives in depth into their best RPO's, Runs and Passes straight from their win over the #1 ranked North Dakota State (Base 4-3 Defense).
This was easily the highlight of their season and showed all that their offense could do!
Each play is diagramed and analyzed into individual video lessons where I carefully describe the ins and outs of each play and how football coaches can run them with their offense and understand the strategies used in defeating defenses.
NEWLY ADDED! SLOW MOTION HD CUTUPS OF EACH PLAY BROKEN DOWN. NOW YOU CAN SEE EXACTLY HOW THEY RAN EACH PLAY!
PLUS...A full playbook of every play in .pdf format.
