Goaltending 101

Martin Brodeur's longevity as an NHL goaltender directly reflects the skills he learned at a young age. The goaltender position is probably the most important one on the ice and perhaps the hardest to learn successfully. In this section of your Training Plan, Coach Patrick Burke demonstrates several drills that you can use to mold the young goaltender on your team. It is important to be patient with your young goaltenders because it is a difficult position to learn.
