    • When the athlete transitions from the back of the ring to the middle of the ring they need to learn to keep their pivot foot dorsi flexed (toes up) and not reach for the surface but let the surface come to them. This drill enables the athlete to work on this. By holding onto their knee and dropping into the center of the ring they can work on this skill.
