Drill Objective
To help players practice ball control, shielding, turning and dribbling under pressure. This drill also gives defenders an opportunity to work on their on-the-ball pressure.
Drill Set-Up

Set out an area of about 20 x 20 yards. Split the group into two equal teams - dribblers and defenders. Each of the dribblers has a soccer ball and spreads out inside the area. The defenders stand on the
outside of the area. Play begins as the dribblers begin dribbling in the area. The defenders run in to the area one at a time and attempt to knock defenders' soccer balls out of the area by tackling and stealing possession. Defenders should not push or commit any fouls to knock the soccer balls out. A dribbler whose soccer ball is knocked out must retrieve the ball and juggle 10 times before re-entering the area.
