Week Six: Passing and Possession

Week Six builds on the fundamental passing concepts and skills practiced during the previous two weeks. The recommended drills for this session emphasize: the weight of passes, the speed of passes, and maintaining possession of the ball under both light and heavy defensive pressure. This week, there will be opposing players on the other side looking to take the ball away from the offensive player. The goal is to educate players on the concept of pressure and how to cope with it when playing the game. Take advantage of this week's lessons to measure your team's improvement to date while taking note of particular skills that need to be focused on moving forward.

This Week's Review:
  • Gate Ball (Week Four)
  • Passing and Receiving in Threes (Week Five)
