Glove Positioning

- First, present the ball. Then put it into the glove.
  
  The pitcher must then push toward the catcher.
  
  Bring the glove and ball straight up and simultaneously into a downward swing.
  
  The pitcher rests her glove on the front leg (plant leg) and will keep the glove there for balance.
  
  Make sure the glove is straight up and down, so the pitcher does not throw herself off balance.
  
  Tip: It is important for pitchers to keep their glove hand pointed in a straight line. Do not let the glove-hand swing out to the right or left, or it will throw off their balance.
