Starting Position on the Mound

- Right-handed Pitchers:
  
  The right foot should be on the front of the rubber.
  
  Align either the middle of the foot or toe with the front of the rubber.
  
  The toe of the back foot should be on the back of the rubber.
  
  Left-handed Pitchers:
  The left foot should be on the front of the rubber.
  Align either the middle of the foot or toe with the front of the rubber.
  The toe of the back foot should be on the back of the rubber.
  The feet need to be shoulder-width apart (they must be balanced and comfortable).
  The pitcher's weight should be over the front foot.
  Players are now ready to get the sign from the catcher and begin to make their pitch.
