    Bad Passes

     view description
      • Stand with hips and shoulders lined up toward the wall.
      • Place hands wide apart on the lacrosse stick.
      • Turn wrists over to other side of body to catch bad passes.
      • Throw the ball a little to the left of a normal target. This enables the ball to come back to the left-handed side and a player has to practice this catching technique.
      • Repeat to the right side.
      • Increase the speed of this drill as players improve.

      Tips:
      • Bad passes happen all the time in a game, so a player should practice catching them.
      • Make sure the player has his hand up near the plastic when catching and rolls the stick in front of his face, like a split dodge.
