    One-Handed Passing

     view description
    • Line up about five yards away from the wall.

Get the butt end of the lacrosse stick pointed at the target.

In this drill, a player is working on his overhand pass. Don't throw sidearm.

The ball should come right back to the stick.

A player should throw the ball about five yards above his head and work on having the ball bounce back into the stick.

Make sure to practice both right-handed and left-handed to develop muscle memory.

Increase repetitions as the skills improve.

Tip: One-handed passing is a drill to help players throw overhand. Practicing it helps to eliminate sidearm passing.
