    Inside Fakes and Catching

     view description
      • When a player fakes with the ball, he wants to keep his stick by his ear.
      • Never bring the stick in front when throwing a fake.
      • Fake with the shoulders and head, not the stick. The less movement with the stick, the better.
      • Use the wrist to guide the ball into the goal.
      • Fake a shot up high, then go down low to shoot around the goalie.
      • Fake a low shot by bring the shoulders down and keeping the stick at the ear, then shoot high.

Tip: Perfecting these fakes will give players a better chance to score goals.
