     view description
    • Their are two primary methods to learn for the Power Jab Strike. A vertical fist version and a horizontal version. Both variations I reccommend to master at some point in your training, The reason being is they're both going to be needed in certain fighting positions in MMA. Especially grappling and close range positions. I am going to start witht the vertical jab application due to its more natural characteristics of the human movement of the arm. I am going to start all drills out with exaggerated positional loading setups for the purpose of finding your FULL POWER CURVE. All power strikes should be practiced in this manner first so you understand how to create maximum load and weight transfer too and through the target. Once this is established from there we will practice utillzing all of the key principles in a more economized manner that you must learn how to decide and apply to any given fighting position and situation.
