    • While Speed and Power is necssary for an effective strike to occur, accuracy is also required.to make a complete application. The Focus of Force is the ability to position the intended striking surface of a punch perfectly with the intended target. The fist, wrist, forearm and elbow all need to be traveling on the same plane. But the focus of force is more then this. It's also important to practice different types of speeds too. There are several types of forces (slapping, shattering, pushing, explosive) and each one has a different effect. Slapping Force is surface oreinated.striking.with high velocity but without functional leverage. Shattering Force is high veolcity and minimal penetration Pushing Force is functional leverage but with very low velocity. Explosive Force is high veolicty similiar to shattering force, but with much more functional leverage
