Technique Two: Rear Power Cross
The second techinuqe is the rear power cross strike. This strike is strike is going to be delivered quite differently then most rear cross strikes. Agin in this practice drill you'll want to focsu on following the correct vectors when striking along the correct line of fforce for maimal effect. The keys to making the cross strike effective in both mid and close ranges is to get the shouldr and elbow to raise in a lateral position away from the body mass to create more torque (rotation) in the trunk in addition to the hips. Also key point is to make sure you angle the upper body into the direction of the strike by using inclination Avoid making impact with a straight spine vertical on the line of gravity if you deire to achieve more force.
