About Coach Jake
Coach Jake Rauchbach is a professional basketball coach, Elite High-Performance Skills Coach and is the founder and CEO of the MindRight Pro™ Program. Coach Jake holds a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis on personnel management from Drexel University, a Masters in The Psychology of Human Movement from Temple University, an International Certificate from Cambridge University, and holds numerous Energy Psychology High-Performance Certifications. He has practiced High-Performance Mindfulness over 20 years.
Through the application of MindRight Pro™ Program principals, Coach Jake has coached and mentored 100s of players ranging from the NBA and the highest levels of European basketball, to high-major college basketball, Olympians, and high-school McDonald's All-American (and everywhere in between).
Coach Jake has coached professional basketball, serving as an Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development in the Israeli Super League, worked on men's coaching staffs at Drexel and Temple University and served as a consultant for Hall Of Fame Head Women's Soccer Coach Anson Dorance. He won a Gold Medal at the Head Coach for Maccabi Team USA Men’s Open at the Maccabi Games in Budapest, Hungary. He also won gold with Maccabi Team USA in the 2017 World Maccabiah Games as an assistant coach in Jerusalem, Israel. He currently consults for college and professional teams and players.
Why I do what I do
My mission is to help players become the best versions of themselves, enabling them to achieve everything that they ever wanted both on and off the court. This is my passion, my life's work, and something that brings me great joy.
Now let me tell you my story and why I do what I do.
As a kid, I faced physical and emotional challenges daily stemming from a serious injury as a youngster. I needed a way to help and heal myself from the pain that I was experiencing.
I quickly learned that traditional ways of healing did not help. Because of this, I was forced to explore alternative ways to ease my mind and body so that I could simply bring more peace and joy into my everyday experience.
In High School, I began to learn and apply modalities ranging from Mindfulness, Sports Psychology, Energy Healing, Chinese Medicine, and other High-Performance leading-edge techniques into my daily routine. As I began using these techniques, I began to feel a BIG difference in the way my mind, body, and game felt. I also began to FOCUS BETTER. I felt more relaxed. My mind felt clearer. I could make decisions and interact with others much easier that I once had. My mind and my body experienced a level of peace and ease that I had never experienced up to that point in my life!
I began to find the relief that I had been looking for, and It all started with my clarity of mind and my mental focus.
As I used these various holistic techniques daily, my present moment became way more peaceful and my focus became stronger. Through this experience, I ended up organically formulating a process for feeling better consistently. In my next step, I took this process to the basketball court. I immediately realized that using this new methodology ALSO began to help me improve my basketball game as well.
I was more focused, more confident, and was able to let go of the fear that had held me back for so long.
In college, I played at Drexel University, walking on for four years. I continued to apply this process to help me hone my focus, strengthen my confidence, and relax my mind, all the while improving my game along the way.
For me, Drexel was a beta-test of my process for feeling better and playing better. It allowed me to see what worked and did not work in a high-level college basketball setting.
I quickly found which techniques helped me on a day to day basis to improve my game.
After college I began my coaching career and went back to school, earning two Masters degrees (M.B.A and Masters in Psychology of Human Movement), and three High-Performance Certifications. I also studied at Cambridge University where I earned an International Business Certificate.
All of this education gave me the chance to launch my High-Performance Program, called MindRight Pro. MindRight Pro was born out of the Mindfulness, sports psychology, Chinese Medicine, energy healing, and remote energy healing techniques that I had used to help myself. As a coach, I began to turn this process outwards to help other players. After nearly a decade working with players and implementing this process, it has been proven time and time again to profoundly improve statistical performance in players.
