Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the moment to moment practice of being present. There are many ways to practice Mindfulness. However, the underlying goal of any mindfulness practice is to become more present-moment focused.
When players become more present, they focus better. When they focus better, their rate of execution goes up. As this happens, statistically performance improves.
The important thing to remember is that the goal for any mindfulness technique is to bring the individual more firmly into the present moment.
Examples for Mindfulness techniques are: Meditation, Breathe Work, Visualization and Energy Psychology.
