Lateral Weighted Ball Receiving
When receiving, the receiving arm will make several different movements depending on the speed and location of the pitch, as well as the catchers timing.
Those movements include a mitt turn, elbow flexion or extension, shoulder flexion or extension and wrist flexion and extension.
This Lateral Heavy Ball Receiving Drill is a great way to practice some of those movements while also improving the strength of the receiving muscles.
