    • This is a great drill to improve reaction time (catch before it hits the ground), improve decision making (using opposite side hand to catch), and hand eye coordination (watching ball and adjusting hand to catch).

      You can simplify the drill by allowing the catcher to use the same side hand to make the catch (If partner drops ball out of left hand, catcher uses the right hand to catch it.  If partner drops ball with right hand, catcher uses left hand to catch it).
