One Knee Dry Run Lateral Blocks
Utilizing the One Knee Set Up to block can be awkward for some catchers. A great way to get a catcher comfortable with the position and movements needed to block a pitch thrown into the dirt, while minimizing the wear and tear from blocking practice, is the One Knee Dry Run Lateral Block drill.
The ball is sitting in place and the catcher simply works on getting over the top of the ball.
