Lesson 11:
Forehand and Backhand Groundstroke | Alternate
For this drill, I set up the ball machine to feed balls deep towards the baseline center.
I will be practicing alternating forehand and backhand groundstrokes, aiming 10 balls to the left half, then 10 balls to the right half, followed by 12 alternating side to side.
The purpose of this drill is early preparation, footwork, groundstrokes consistency, and placement.
Use topspin or slice to control the ball, and constant movement.
Secret: Early preparation and spin are the keys to consistent groundstrokes.
