     view description
    • This is a rally drill in which the coach plays with each player. If there is a larger than 2 players group, the number from which the drill should start can be lower.

The coach is on one side at baseline, the players line up behind the baseline on the opposite side.
The coach puts the ball in play and rallies with the first player in line until she hits 7 balls over the net. Then, without stopping, the next player steps up to also play 7-ball rally with the coach.
Once each player has played 7-ball rally with the coach, the drill continues with a 6-ball rally; followed by a 5-ball rally, and so on until there is only 1 ball rally during which the players rotate after each shot.

If at any point, anybody misses, the coach will put another ball in play so that the rally goes on with very little interruption.
