Lesson 13:
Shuffle Two / Shuffle One
This footwork drill can be done by one player or pair of players competing against each other.
There is a line of cones placed about 3-4 feet apart. The players face each other having the first cone between them.
At the coach's command, the two players will shuffle sideways to the length of two cones, then back one cone. Again shuffle for two-cone length, back one cone. And so on until they reach the last cone from where they will sprint to the first cone.
All this should be done at a fast pace.
A good drill for lateral speed, quick change of direction, leg strength.
