Lesson 34:
Warm-Up Drill
We consider this drill one of the best tennis warm-up exercises because it teaches beginning players how to track and move to the ball, upper body strength, and how to use the whole kinetic chain for hitting groundstrokes.
Two players (or a coach and player) pass a basket ball (or medicinal ball) over the net, back and forth, tossing it and catching it after one bounce, moving each other side to side.
Do this for 1-3 minutes as part of the tennis warm-up.
