Lesson 27:
Cat and Mouse - 1
This is a fun game in which kids chase each other being separated by a line of cones.
There is a line of 6-8 cones lined up; the kids, in pair, begin facing each other, opposite sides of the line of cones.
One of the players is designated to be the "cat" or chaser, the other will be the "mouse".
At coach's command, the "cat" will chase the "mouse" running only (and not reaching) around the line of cones. The "cat" can be given a 30 second time to catch the "mouse".
Reverse roles after the time is up.
It is a very fun way for players to get a good workout, improve speed and quick change of direction skills.
