Lesson 35:
Ball Tracking and Footwork - 1
This rally game is good for beginning players to develop ball tracking and footwork skills.
The coach rallies with the player; both from the baseline.
As the coach hits the ball, he'll call a number - 1, 2, or 3 - that represents how many times the player must let the ball bounce on her side before hitting it back.
The player must turn sideways, get the racquet ready, and move the feet as she watches the ball bouncing the number of times called by the coach; then hit it back.
