Lesson 36:
Set and Track
"Set and Track" is a drill that we usually do as a warm-up - good for footwork, early preparation, ball tracking.
The player gets ready by turning the shoulders and preparing the racquet behind the ball that is held by the coach. The coach will move side to side or back and forth while the player must follow the ball keeping the racquet ready behind it.
At any time, the coach will let the ball drop, to which the student must react by hitting it over the net.
Repeat this action a few times, using different balls, on both sides, forehand and backhand.
